This is the scarf that I get the most requests for. It’s easy to make in a long ribbed pattern, and very relaxing to work on. I have used very soft and luxurious yarns for this scarf, so there’s nothing on the planet that feels nicer against your neck on a chilly day. A thick, chunky alpaca yarn is combined with a fingering weight blend of 52% bamboo, 43% superwash merino wool, and 5% silk. Bamboo is a very durable fiber and has an extremely soft feel and luxurious drape. The combination of thick and thin yarns in black and ecru or burgundy and brown makes this a beautiful and interesting study in contrasts.
