This kit was designed with beginning knitters in mind. It includes patterns for three different dishcloths knitted using colorful cotton yarn. Each pattern will help you learn and practice a different basic knitting technique. The first is done using the basic knitting garter stitch. The second one introduces purling, alternating between knitting and purling to give a basket-weave texture. The third uses the basic increasing and decreasing stitches - yarn overs and knitting two together. Each pattern includes a website reference with instructional videos to help beginners learn these techniques. We love using the Daisy needles for this kit. They are light, smooth and colorful and are just fun to knit with.
