This hat combines the easy rolled edge pattern with a touch of Crystal Palace Nubbles yarn and a contrasting color stripe for character. It is mostly knit with a double strand of our favorite Cascade Pastzaza yarn (50% wool, 50% llama) and my own locally raised alpaca yarn. My guy Friday gave some of his fleece for this yarn (the reddish-brown strand). He is a bit thick fleece-wise, but his sweet face and beautiful color make up for his coarseness. (His picture is shown with the hat.) Our Wild & Wooly hat is thick and soft and will keep you warm even when the thermometer dips into those dreaded single digits.
